Description

Louisa ‘Lily’ Parkinson (nee Train) was a newspaper and magazine artist in the 1920s. Pressure from her family meant she gave up this work for hairdressing, owning the hair salon ‘Bobbette’ (first floor of 12 High Street). She continued to draw privately throughout her life.
